Essential goods sufficiently secured
TEHRAN- The head of the Iran Chamber of Guilds stated that essential goods have been secured in the quantity needed by the country and there are no shortages, saying the situation regarding essential goods in the provinces is being monitored daily.
Ghasem Noudeh Farahani said in an exclusive interview with IRNA on Tuesday: "The distribution of essential goods is being monitored in coordination with unions and guilds across the country so that people do not face the problem of goods shortages."
He added: "In some provinces adjacent to Tehran, especially in the northern provinces, the distribution of oil and potatoes faced disruptions due to the increase in people's travels, which was quickly resolved, and now there is a surplus."
The head of the Iran Chamber of Guilds, emphasizing that the normal process of supplying and distributing essential goods is taking place throughout the country, said: "With the coordination made, shops and fruit and vegetable centers are active, and people can do their daily shopping."
He added: "Guilds across the country are active and are distributing goods quickly, while shops are also obliged to supply goods and are not closed."
Noudeh Farahani emphasized: "Essential goods are offered at approved prices, while joint inspections by guilds and the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade are carried out at goods distribution points and shops."
He requested the public: "Refrain from stockpiling essential goods, and shop based on household needs and calmly."
